The Community Investment Program Approval Committee meeting, originally scheduled for today, is cancelled. This evening, at 6:00 pm, there will be a meeting of the Vehicle for Hire Committee. The agenda includes online booking services, brokerage house regulations, and other Committee identified priorities.

On Wednesday, at 2:00 pm, there will be a meeting of the Homelessness Initiatives Strategic Committee. Among other items, the agenda includes a Federal Update on the Community Plan on Homelessness Funding and the National Indigenous Homelessness Council AGM Update.
- Also on Wednesday, at 4:00 pm, there will be a Council Closed Meeting. As the title implies, this meeting is closed to the public, and it appears that a report from the Integrity Commissioner will be discussed. The Regional Advisory Committee on Inclusion, Diversity and Equity will meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesday. No agenda is available for this meeting yet.

Councillors approved a motion requiring senior employee bonuses to be disclosed to Council before approval, following a controversy over $1 million in bonuses granted in 2021 and 2022. The Municipality alleges these bonuses were illegitimate and secretive, while the former HR Director claims they followed established procedures. The motion aims to improve transparency, but some Councillors raised concerns about Council overstepping its administrative role.

Council also approved the construction of a skate park in Gregoire, an initiative championed by Grades 5 and 6 students from Greely Road School. The project aims to address a lack of recreational spaces in Gregoire compared to other neighbourhoods in Fort McMurray. Students and their principal highlighted transportation barriers and socioeconomic challenges that make existing skate parks inaccessible to local children.
- Unemployment in the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo census area decreased to 6.7% in October, marking the first decline since December, according to Statistics Canada. Despite this, the region saw no significant job growth, with 400 full-time jobs lost offset by an equal number of part-time positions gained. Alberta overall added 13,000 jobs during the same period, with construction leading the gains.
